The Association, together with the Police Department, continued with the annual tradition of making Trick or Treat a little safer for your children. Little ghouls, ghosts, and goblins were provided with glow sticks free of charge to make them more visible during their evening quest for goodies.

Trooper Kenton Iwaniec loved hunting and the outdoors. To honor his memory and to help reduce the number of lives lost as a result of impaired driving, the Trooper Kenton Iwaniec Memorial Foundation held its forth annual sporting clay event in September 2015 at the Shooting Academy at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. This event helps to both increase awareness about the danger of driving impaired and get needed tools into the hands of sworn officers to detect/apprehend drunk drivers. The MLPA once again sponsored a team of four officers who participated in this amazing event.
